Description

The commemorative banknote with a motif of porcelain figures “Staillons and Mare” by Jaroslav Ježek is an outcome of the close cooperation of STÁTNÍ TISKÁRNA CENIN, státní podnik (STC), and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. STC graphically processed and printed the commemorative banknote according to the design by student Tuan Vuong Trong who used the motifs of Czech utility art as a way to present the national wealth. This commemorative banknote presents the work by the industrial designer Jaroslav Ježek and his figural sculptures which succeeded at the EXPO 58 World Exhibition in Brussels. The banknote reverse side contains the motifs of a cover of the book by Konstantin Fedin The Sorrows of Old Werther, the author of which is the Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist Radim Malát. The commemorative banknote can be purchased separately or in a gift cover, folder with a transparent pocket (PVC) for the print placement. Thanks to the use of a high-quality graphical paper with the grammage of 300 g/m2 in the dark green colour Keaykolour Original Holly and the intaglio printing technology, your product will become an original and exceptional gift for your loved ones or business partners.
