We commemorate an individual who significantly and unforgettably influenced the prestige of Czech banknotes. Painter and graphic artist Max Švabinský was admired for his extraordinary drawing skills and variety of graphic techniques. Švabinský’s works are accompanied by an unceasing love for nature, and in his portraits we can meet many important personalities of the time. He belongs to the generation of artists who laid the foundations of our modern fine art of the 20th Century.
The portrait of Max Švabinský is printed by intaglio printing. The graphic sheet comes in a representative gift folder featuring the STC logo, made of high-quality graphic paper weighing 300 g/m2 Keaykolour Original Carmine. The logo is printed by intaglio printing, text by offsetting.
The graphic illustration sheet beautifully complements and creates a unique collection with our commemorative sheet in the form of the “NINETY” banknote, which we issued, as the name suggests, for the 90th anniversary of the founding of STC. We also dedicated this commemorative illustration sheet in the form of a banknote to one of the most important Czech artists of the Twentieth Century, Max Švabinský, who was born 145 years ago in 2018.
If you have not yet ordered a Commemorative Illustration Sheet in the form of a “Ninety” banknote, you still have the option to do so at our e-Shop in the “For collectors” section.
Products purchased as a set will become an original and exceptional gift for your loved ones or business partners.
